ADİL SANİ KONUKOĞLU

RESUME

Adil Sani Konukoğlu was born in Gaziantep in 1961. He completed his high school education in Gaziantep in 1980, then completed his English language program at University of Denver in 1984.

Konukoğlu started to work at the spinning plants of Sanko Textile Co. in 1987, then worked as the CFO of Sanko Holding in between 1992 and 2006. He is still the group leader of the companies belonging to Sanko Holding such as Sanko School, Sanko Hospital, Sanko Cement-Concrete and Sanko Yarn-Towel.

Konukoğlu served as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, Chairperson  of the Board of Gaziantep Collage Alumni Society, Board member of Gaziantepspor,  Chairperson of the Board of Sankospor, Founding President of Gaziantep Young Businessperson Association, President of Southeastern Anatolia Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association, Chairperson of the Board of Gaziantep Textile Industry Employers Association, Board Member of Silkroad Development Agency and Forum Member of B20 Turkey Business Leaders.

Adil Sani Konukoğlu is still serving as the Vice Chairperson of Sanko Holding, Chairperson of the Assembly of Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, Council member of TOBB Chamber of Industry, Member of the High Board of Strategy Development, Vice Chairperson of the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone Entrepreneur Delegation, Vice Chairperson of the Arbitration Center of Jerusalem, Deputy Chairperson of Gaziantep City Council and Board member of Gaziantep Development Foundation. Konukoğlu is married with three children.
